Summary - Woodsmith Magazine

Woodsmith Magazine has been published bimonthly since 1978. Targeted to the active woodworker of intermediate skills, emphasizing projects for home use and gift giving. It is currently published by August Home Publishing Company. Articles are well written and very effectively illustrated.

August Home covers all the bases in terms online and archival access.

FOR FREE: The entry portal is at https://www.woodsmithlibrary.com/.   Here, you can do full-text searches of the complete collection. You can also browse the first few pages of each issue, including the table of contents.

FULL ONLINE ACCESS is reachable at the same URL, at the low, low price of $79, which seems to be open-ended. There is an online page-by-page reading interface, and you can also download individual issues in PDF, one at a time.

Lastly, they have a physical archival offering - DVD or USB for an additional $20. Here they have made some attempt at preventing pirating, as the USB only shows a few front-end documents that facilitate navigation. The actual data files are hidden.
